Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress, known for the roles she played in Hum Aapke Hai Koun. Her career began in the 1980s and came to popularity with her role in Tezaab, a film in which she was a part of the cast with an established actor Anil Kapoor. Her next film was the film Dil in which she shared the screen with Aamir Khan. Born into the Mumbai middle class family and started dancing when she was a child. At the age of 15 when she began to act, she had a difficult time as a majority of her films were flops. In the end, she was one of the biggest actresses of Indian films. She decided to take a break from her career following her marriage before returning to the world of entertainment. In recent times, she was one of the main characters in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit was nominated 15 times in the Filmfare Awards. She won eight of them. Padma Shri - the fourth most prestigious civilian award of India is awarded to Dixit. Her work in the field of social service is well-known.
