Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish pop singer and flamenco performer. From her teens, she's embraced the edges of both popular and traditional music. She also is a pioneer in the realms of hip-hop, trap, and soul. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and famous musician has described the voice of the young singer as sweet and sharp however with a bite. El Mal Querer gained her critical acclaim and commercial success when her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. It earned her the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. The track La Fama featuring the Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami, her third album included songwriting collaborations with Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released in the month of March 2022, following the Saturday Night Live performance featuring the song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia is the very first Spanish singer to perform solo on the show. Motomami was the sole female in the history of music to be a recipient of the Latin Album of the Year two times and also three Latin Grammy Awards.
